Back to ReviewsFormer Employee Great product and but sales organization is years behind industry standards. CEO doesn't like sales people, you will see this referenced online (CEO rant where he throws sales team under bus, on Glassdoor, etc). Before I started I was told I would get a list of accounts (I knew there were no territories), then day 1 I found out I would get zero accounts and had to find my own. I worked at another org for YEARS and never had to "split" even one deal, whereas at Cloudflare almost every net new deal I had over 2+ years had some entanglement with ROE, someone else was trying to take the account/deal from me or we had to split deal credit. They did a reorg earlier this year Jan 1 and we didn't get our new accounts until the first or second week of Feb. I've never worked in such a political, backhanded, passive-aggressive, catty organization -- would never have expected adults to act this way, but that might just be what Bay area tech companies are like though.
