Take the CEO's comments about the sales team in 2023 and the TikTok video seriously. I've survived a lot of changes at Cloudflare, but the CEO is actively antagonistic to the sales team and refuses to invest in sales. For years we thought they wouldn't let go of more than half the team at once (that's how many people are below 50% in NAMER MM). Rather than trying to improve sales resources, they've decided to just churn and burn and hope it gets better. The most recent cuts came after normal quarterly performance cuts and they completely blindsided the reps, managers and directors that got fired. No one was informed of the supposed standards they weren't meeting. Proceed with extreme caution.

On a call, the new Americas SVP of sales literally said “I feel like firing someone” Making reps carry the weight of initiatives like more channel deals, without implementing the simplest fixes to help get there…. Like geo based books of business that actually allow you to work with a channel rep.
