Enterprise Accounts was a very unstable market segment. I had 5 new territories in 2 years. Reorganizations were out-of-control. But comp package was crazy lucrative. No need to make quota, if you sold a couple deals you were set. During last quarter I was given a base raise, retention bonus and increased comp. Then the following quarter I was part of a RIF as they changed from hyper growth to profitability. Funny thing is I was RIFed while on a trip to close a deal they had approved a week earlier.
