Amazing product market fit and solid inbound lead flow (for cap table product), with good OTE compensation. Company has tendency to over-hire and squeeze reps out, but this is not uncommon in SAAS. Future for company overall is not promising after exiting secondary markets business (a huge part of company's promise/valuation), uninspiring exec leadership, and a big swing and miss on Fund Admin business line.

The Carta SMB team is an inbound referral engine. Fast deal cycles, although some prospects need much more hand-holding than others as they're typically first time founders. Currently more reps miss than hit, as there's nowhere left to prospect (closed 60%+ of the market, we only sell to net-new, no limit on book size).
