My overall experience was poor. Your success and general happiness in the role is almost entirely determined by your book of business and manager. Maybe 2-5 reps in the entire segment have both a good manager and good book of business.

My overall experience has been great. Box is an excellent place to get started in SaaS sales, particularly because of the skill development and training offered. The role prepares you for AE roles later in your career and the transition from SDR to OBR role increases the salary to a much more competitive rate compared to some BDR roles.

Box is an amazing company to work at with a stellar product that is constantly becoming more and more relevant in the market. Pay is very average and that works for a lot of people because the culture is so strong. Very flexible hours, easy sell, good leadership.
