Current Employee The product and market fit are good. Great exposure to technical and transformative projects with customers. But I feel like the company loses its top talent because of the comp plan. But maybe they know this and the benefits outweigh the costs for the company in the long run.
The compensation plan is purposely designed to limit payouts to reps with so many hurdles to overcome to reach OTE. There are decelerated payout rates until you reach 50% of annual quota and other unachievable/uncontrollable aspects to the comp plan such as ‘quarterly linearity’ and ‘deal scores’ based on products sold. Boomi is an enterprise-grade solution with long complex sales cycles but the comp plan reflects a more transactional sales cycle.
To summarise, cool tech and market but the comp plan is disheartening. Browse Other Reviews
