My overall experience with Asana was amazing. Having zero sales experience and coming into Asana was probably one of the best choices I could have ever made in my life. Admittedly, after growing so fast the movement for upward growth/promotions are now scarce. I would recommend Asana for anyone who is looking for a competitive base salary ( looking to make a vertical move up into SMB, MM or ENT; or anyone who has never had any BDR experience)

Asana has been a great ride, I have been here for almost 6 years. Post-IPO, sales leadership changes have made it tough to adjust with constantly changing targets and some unattainable numbers. People are great, but sales targets are hard to reach.

Asana is struggling with GTM. Asking enterprise reps to source and close and then manage smb to mid-market sized deals (team by team) in hopes of getting to a larger revenue event down the road.
