Overall good company that tries to do the right thing. There is a lack of understanding of the core customer right now that is pervasive in nearly every leadership position.

AppFolio WAS a great place to work prior to around 2021. Since then, the culture that made it so wonderful has been stomped out by new leadership (VP of Sales, President, etc) who have been brought in. Prior to all of the leadership changes, AppFolio was a great place to gather experience being an SE. The culture and benefits were great too. However it’s not an ideal place to spend as an SE long term since the compensation for the position is so low. The amount of revenue and workload assigned to an SE is a complete joke.
