Back to ReviewsFormer Employee AppFolio WAS a great place to work prior to around 2021. Since then, the culture that made it so wonderful has been stomped out by new leadership (VP of Sales, President, etc) who have been brought in. They don't understand our product or customers, and seemingly don't care to learn. All that matters is profits (peep the stock -- its doing well) and that has become obvious across the board. AppFolio was the market leader for SMB and MidMarket companies in their space, but as they try to grow upmarket to enterprise, they're shitting on the customers that got them to where they are today with bad support and increased fees.
The leadership is deaf to the needs of IC's - forcing them back in office (the VP of sales doesn't even go to the office - he lives in a different city!), constant change, and gaslighting them to make them think they are the problem.
A few things I will shout out -- AppFolio's training and development is second to none! Same goes for the Sales Enablement team. They are both an incredibly well oiled machines that any sales rep would be lucky to work with and learn from.
