AWS gives you the space to be creative and flexibility to try and fail. The hybrid and flexibility allows me to work remotely if needed. The pay and commission is good but appreciation and incentives are little to non. AWS puts the customer first in any discussion.

AWS is a phenomenal company. My journey has been exciting, rewarding, and challenging. The level of opportunity is insane, but the level of intensity and the performance bar will take individuals to the maximum of their capabilities. If you tale the path, be ready.

This year AWS did not award any salary increases. Also they halved compensation payments on some committed contracts, and removed other commission payments. Net pay for many will drop significantly in 2024 vs 2023.
