The experience at AWS is less about driving deals and more about driving visibility. Much of the solutioning is left to partners and leadership is less interested in pipeline than Executive Engagement.

I've been at AWS for 7 years. The environment is trending sharply downward in 2025 with the RTO that is forcing sales professionals to be in the office 100% of the time if they're not onsite at a customer or partner. My overall experience is mixed, it is a fairly low pressure sales job however you will never earn big money. Culturally the company is full of "yes" people, its risky to share your opinion if it differs to your manager/leadership
