Current Employee I've been at AWS for 7 years. The environment is trending sharply downward in 2025 with the RTO that is forcing sales professionals to be in the office 100% of the time if they're not onsite at a customer or partner. This development is having a serious impact on morale amongst the sales team. The financial opportunity is still attractive here, but the quality of life aspect is negative. A concerning byproduct of the RTO mandate is that there will seemingly be no hiring in areas where AWS does not have an office, which limits our ability to attract top talent that may not live in a city with an office. Another concerning trend is the constant reorganizations and changes in territory composition - I have had 9 managers and have covered about 35 customers with an average of 5 per year, which means I am constantly losing accounts and relationships each year to other teams as a result of the reorganizations. It's a constant struggle to stay positive here, but the payoff is worthwhile. Browse Other Reviews
