It’s a confusing time for Workato. A bunch of long tenured employees have left and it’s all new faces. The product is super solid, but the sales reps are not incentivized in a way that aligns with the company goals.

Low achievement, punitive incentive compensation model, and is going all in on trying to make enterprise "work". Leadership is disconnected from what the customers care about and how they buy. Terrible changes to the comp plan in 2024. used to get 100% of your commission up front. now you get 75%. new pricing model, optimizing towards reducing churn, and outbound is nonexistent here -- both by AEs and SDRs

The culture over the last 2 years or so has gone down hill. We’ve over corrected from being too loose to too strict with our goals as a company from the Leadership side. Great Reps are being PIPed and walking out for not outbounding as much, with pipeline coverage being a more closely monitored metric over closing sales.
