Ask them sales cycle they will say less than 9 months some say 7, but it is 18 month except for a few rare instances, ask them when did you start talking to customer and when a deal actually closed. If you want to make money, move on.

If you are an AE its about hitting and crushing your number and no one does that here. No consumption pricing means you lose to Azure, Google, AWS, Databricks, etc. even though you have a superior product
