Question

I see a lot of negative comments here about quota attainment. Also about high turnover rates. Is this still the case? Are any efforts being made to improve this?

Company attainment for fully ramped reps was around 12%, which is not great at all.. I would say 85% of the org is on a ramped quota are the only people hitting, and once you get the 550K number you fall to the 12%, move on like most people who have a successful track record, or get PIP'd/ fired. Would not recommended if you have sales experience. If you're looking to get your foot in the door it can be worth while but you go through a literal boot camp essentially and will be working 60 hour weeks making 60K.

Yes, about 95% of the sales reps are on-ramped quotas and if you're not hitting your number at least 3 qtr in a row then you're automatically PIP'd (with or without your knowledge). If you're a current employee, then I recommend searching the PIP document in your work Google Drive. Most reps who crush it at the beginning walk into a great patch, handed opportunities that have already been worked on for the longest time, or have great partners who are well-established and know how to sell the Verkada solution. Everyone is superficial so if you really need a job, then take it but keep on looking and networking.
