My overall experience with the sales organization at Verizon has been very great. This is because of the tools and opportunities the company provides to allow me to be successful in my role. It's not an easy role to be successful at and there are people who fail. You have to put in the work and effort in order to succeed.

Typical corporate customer facing sales job. Large corporation, hard to get fired as long as you did your job but hard to advance. The amount you make vs the amount you generate is unbalanced in their favor significantly because they know their product sales itself.

Definitely a good place make some money however, the uncertainty of the company’s direction seems to have an effect on the culture and the overall outlook of the role. If you can get away from the water cooler talk you’ll be fine.
