What is the sales culture like at Varonis, and how does it contribute to the overall work environment?

Your experience of "culture" at Varonis will mostly depend on who your direct manager is.  I would recommend looking up previous reps in your territory on Linkedin and interviewing them on their experience working for your prospective new manager.  Generally speaking, there is no sales culture at Varonis.  Varonis leadership is old school and firmly believe that you should feel lucky to work there, so don't expect any type of red carpet ever or inspirational speeches from any senior leadership.  SKO's are terrible and unexciting, you'll have a roommate, and generally a total waste of your time.  Comp plans get changed mid year to your detriment.  Very poor channel program that was underinvested in and mostly ignored for years.  Tons of turnover within channel leadership over last 3 years.  Varonis is a cheap company when it comes to sales/marketing/channel even though they tout on each quarterly earnings call that they have $800m cash in the bank.  That may seem like a trivial gripe, but it will impact your ability to make money each and every day.

Traditional boys club with little to no diversity. Leadership was developed from nepotism. Leadership /management is great at micro managing. Innovation is stagnant and lacking a true vision.

It depends on management in your territory, some are micromanaged more than others. Regardless of where you are in the US it is increasingly toxic with C level executives firing top reps, regional managers and lower level employees for taking approved PTO recently.

Management's overly aggressive with little to no respect for any work/life balance. The micromanagement's genuinely absurd and counterproductive. They don't have an established culture to speak of, at least from my perspective coming from companies who did. Quite honestly, it felt like a new company pulling in many different directions with little idea of what they were doing.
