Bad, I joined when Broadcom just made a bid on VMWare. For more than 12 months we were in limbo land, ther was a hiring freeze and a lot of vmware left the company and were not being replaced. Sales wise we did great, everybody in the Globals team were hitting their targets. Due to expexted price increases from Broadcom, all global account were flipped from pep to sub for 3 to 5 years. This was considered as order intake.

With the impending Broadcom acquisition things have changed. Multiple leaders have left, new processes have been put in place that delay sales cycles. Any deal over $10M in ARR requires an approval process that adds at least a month before you have anything you can share with a customer. No one has a sense of urgency until the acquisition is complete.
