I truly enjoyed my experience at VMware. The culture that Pat established lasted for many years. VMware always put there people first and had a very strong leadership training program internally.

My experience with VMware was overall pretty solid. I joined as a contractor and worked there for almost 10 years. This company has a completely different culture to formerly known VMware, they have no focus on commercial accounts and do not care about their employees only the bottom line. My overall experience at VMware prior to the acquisition by Broadcom was excellent. Executive leadership, colleagues, culture, benefits was great! Unfortunately, that all changed with Broadcom…pendulum shifted completely on all levels.

It was amazing pre broadcom acquisition, broadcom killed vmware, the culture & our care for customers and the tech. They now only care about top 10% of customers so if you worked Midmarket you could no longer take care of customers.
