My overall experience was great with VMware before BC acquisition. BC culture is a little different and the work life balance isn't as good as VMware's. BC will do a good a job shrinking the portfolio/sku's but during the transition period it is hard on customers/partners.

My overall experience at VMware is positive, it is a great company with a great culture. Lots of benefits that add to your salary. Pay is not the best in the market but certainly not the worst for the role it’s very good and targets are achievable.
