Current Employee Over the past six months, the company has seen a massive leadership shake-up, with many long-tenured employees leaving. The culture has completely shifted, and it no longer feels like the same company. The SDR/BDR team’s RTO is essentially a pilot before rolling it out to the rest of sales next year, adding uncertainty about the future.
New leadership, primarily from Salesforce, has brought a grind-heavy atmosphere, a stark contrast to the previous environment. Work-related communication extends late into the night, with Slack and emails coming through at 9pm or later. Training is nonexistent—it’s a sink-or-swim environment where you’re expected to figure everything out on your own.
Compensation is below market, and the role is becoming more micro-managed. Managers focus on motivation and hype rather than providing tactical guidance and coaching. If you thrive in an environment with strong structure and support, this may not be the best fit.
We’ve fallen far behind competitors in product innovation. Enterprise still sees us as an SMB tool, while SMBs see us as too expensive. This disconnect makes selling significantly harder.
