Is it harder to succeed or hit plan at Snowflake right now vs. when macro conditions were good in early 2022 or late 2021?  Is there more pressure from management?

Harder to hit plan as companies pull back, more management pressure, quotas irrationally high and they’ve been typically set to be unattainable.

It's hard for old reps, it's almost impossible for new reps unless you get lucky and a deal lands on your plate via a system integrator which is unlikely as competition has caught up and the cloud providers as well as databricks are popular in the space with multiple partnerships to push their offer

Always easier in better economic conditions but right now, it’s nearly impossible to close more business and the quotas are extremely extremely high with a ton of pressure to the point of yelling

2022 and 2021 were phenomenal years to sell at Snowflake, but those days are long gone. Reps had bigger books of business that they could get big $ upsells out of which they have largely taken away. They restructured the org and now everyone is struggling between SMB, Acquisitions, and Strat (and i've even heard enterprise). Pressure from leadership is absolutely insane, led with motivate-by-fear mentality. Most reps don't even last a year due to extremely high pressure, a terrible comp plan that only benefits the business, low pay, and the mental turmoil involved in this job. Turnover is rampant between both people getting fired or quitting (both extremely common) and its almost impossible now to get promoted to enterprise due to slowed hiring. Even Managers are getting fired constantly. Some reps get extremely lucky with massive deals falling into their laps (pretty rare though) while others really struggle to make a livable wage in the cities they operate in since base salary is well below market.
