You will be micromanaged to death here. I don't blame my former manager in that regard because well, he was likely getting micromanaged.
It is next to impossible to move from an SDR to an AE internally (even if you are hitting quota regularly). They keep changing the timeline. Something I have come to realize is that most SDR Managers have not been an AE before and have only been an SDR. Therefore, they aren't the best advocates to get you promoted let alone, have the knowledge to upskill you into the AE role.
There are many great people that I have met particularly in Burlington. However, given this is primarily an in-office company, there are politics and drama. Plenty of perks, outings, happy hours etc that all seem cool on paper but soon enough I realized my life was already cool outside of work and that I didn't need that at the end of the day.
If you are early in your sales career, I'd say go for it, you'll learn a lot. But don't look at SMWB as the end-all be-all.
