Back to ReviewsCurrent Employee Salesforce isn't the best place to be at right now. The entire switch to "performance culture" really just means a crazy amount of micromanagement, pipeline and ACV. They made it much easier for your direct manager to put you on a plan basically after just 1 quarter of poor performance, which almost everyone isn't doing well right now.
The company overall never really had true organic growth over the years. Most reps never really hit their targets here. Salesforce always grew by borrowing and buying out another company. It's coming back to bite them in the ....
It also seriously lacks any real diversity, despite all the pictures you might see in the hallways. If you want to get promoted you should be really good at playing the game, its not really about your performance.
I've done well since i've been here, mostly from my own efforts and the fact that Salesforce does have brand recognition. At this point however, I'm more than willing to go to another smaller company for more pay and a better culture.
