Salesforce retains some of the best AEs and SEs and some amazing EVPs+; however, the majority of RVPs (at least in enterprise) only care about fake inflated pipe and are boss’s not leaders. With headwinds, product immaturity, now more than ever Salesforce should be LEADING not pushing AEs to sell products that are not even going to pass for enterprise-ready. Salesforce is quickly losing sight of its mission to improve the state of business. It’s chasing profits and unrealistic sales on a product that frankly is going to take time to sell (Data Cloud). If there is to be another round of layoffs Salesforce should highly consider eliminating RVPs and having a flatter hierarchy it takes a week of internal meetings/game of telephone to get anything up the leadership chain. There’s no agility and a lack of transparency from top to bottom and bottom to top. Someone steer this ship.
