I was with Salesforce for just over 3 years and my overall experience was positive. Starting as a BDR and moving into an AE role, I believe my base salary was probably lower than market rate. However the commissions were good and seemed achievable at the time. The additional employee benefits are great at Salesforce. Towards the end of 2022 as Salesforce were facing 'market and economic headwinds', the culture seemed to take a downturn. My role was in the end impacted by March 2023 global redundancies.

My overall opinion of Salesforce changed over the nearly 2 years that I was there. During the first six months, I would’ve rated everything in the four through five star range. Absolute horrendous, not recommended at all. As a BDR you don't learn anything. The Sales training, containing only power point presentations, are a JOKE. There is nothing but stress, stress and more stress.
