I was with Salesforce for just over 3 years and my overall experience was positive. Starting as a BDR and moving into an AE role, I believe my base salary was probably lower than market rate. However the commissions were good and seemed achievable at the time. The additional employee benefits are great at Salesforce. Towards the end of 2022 as Salesforce were facing 'market and economic headwinds', the culture seemed to take a downturn. My role was in the end impacted by March 2023 global redundancies.

All around very good company to work for that over-extended like many during the pandemic. Always remember you need to look out for yourself as the company is mostly responsible to shareholders/investors.
