Company overall has been a fair organization. Its tough here, building your book of business. If you are in the NE, you have more access to service providers when the bench is full or we cant complete the work. Services and engineering can be slow at times to help with answers for proposals.

My overall experience was positive for someone trying to learn sales and get their feet wet. You’ll meet some great people here and the company culture is overall very solid. Although there is room for professional growth, the comp plan just did not seem in line with market value.

SHI is a great place to start out your sales career. There are ample training opportunities and it is nice to be in the same boat as many of your peers when it comes to experience. If you want to go from no sales to becoming a salesperson, especially right out of college, it is hard to find a better environment.
