I have joined Enterprise Sales with SAP Concur, and the onboarding experience and people have been great. The customers are still 50/50, the ones who feel entitled, but the other sales rep tells me it's possible to enjoy the journey and look forward to making double my OTE. SAP Concur is a very clicky organization that hires its friends over good internal talent, but I kept networking and fighting to get a spot to show the manager who took a chance on me that he made the right gamble.

SAP cares more about controlling revenue than growing revenue. This has led many poor decisions like capping commissions earnings. The ELT seems to be an echo chamber: 2024 innovation award for operations led to LOWER pipeline generation but it was easier to report on. No training for sales.
