Podium
Back to ReviewsFormer Employee As an employee at Podium, I’ve found the product to be reliable and beneficial for businesses looking to enhance customer interactions. It’s user-friendly and well-developed, making it a valuable tool in its niche. However, the company’s internal environment has been less than ideal.
The treatment of remote workers is a significant issue. There’s a clear divide between how remote and in-office employees are regarded. Remote workers often feel excluded from key discussions and opportunities, creating a sense of isolation. This disparity impacts morale and makes it challenging to feel truly part of the team.
Leadership at Podium also presents challenges. The work culture can feel toxic at times, with limited transparency and an unwelcoming attitude toward feedback. It often feels like there’s a lack of genuine support from the leadership team, which can be demoralizing for employees who are passionate about their work.
While Podium’s product is solid, the work environment needs substantial improvement. Addressing the treatment of remote employees and fostering a more open and supportive culture would go a long way in making Podium not just a great product provider, but also a great place to work.
