Zero work life balance. Expectation is that you’re working from second you wake up until you go to sleep. While they have a very lucrative comp structure they churn and burn reps frequently. Austin office manager has a 0% retention rate. Compensation for closed deals is also dependent on implementation specialists ability to implement. Commissions are held for 9 months if implementation doesn’t run smoothly and unpaid if implementations fail.

Earning potential is great, but you are working three jobs in one as an outside sales rep at Paycom. You are your own SDR and systems engineer in addition to sales. Decent first sales job out of college if you want to have a career in sales. I would not work here as a tenured sales professional. Unsavory practices, daily team meetings, all in person meetings, no flexibility. Few people are happy here.
