The company has plenty of good policies and resources and technology. What's lacking is sales and marketing leadership to unify and inspire the company. Executives act as if the product and company is so good that products sell themselves and they have an arrogance that comes through in negotiations, pricing and competitive situations. Since mid-2023 there has been an increased exodus of sales management and field sales in the US. The SASE and Cloud Security specialty teams are being beaten badly in the marketplace leading to finger pointing, turnover and reps not getting close to quota. The Firewall business remains strong but the pricing leaves room for competition to break through. The company doesn't know how to structure ELAs which include more of the full portfolio of solutions, with many of the Core (full portfolio reps) Reps being legacy Firewall focused reps.
