The culture and leadership at Netskope have taken a dramatic downturn in 2024. There have been 3 RIF’s due to over hiring practices, as well as high turnover of long term employees opting to leave. The average sales cycle is actually 24+ months from opportunity creation, which your rating slider does not account for. Marketing and Brand awareness are a challenge even though Netskope is a Gartner MQ leader. The biggest challenge is a customer making no decision or delaying their decision for a year or two. Very few sales reps meet their quota, as an example, the East region has 30 reps, 2-4 reps made quota, none achieved Presidents Club which required a min of 120% of quota to be considered. It’s a shame because the tech is really good. Very complex and politically charged and challenging sale. Moral is low and some of the new leadership are immature and not qualified to hold their role. The bright spot is the compensation plan which rewards multi year TCV deals. The comp plan has enabled me to capture the OTE commissions variable available to me and in some years exceed it, without hitting the annual quota.
