Back to ReviewsCurrent Employee NICE CXone undervalues the Sales Engineering Team by constantly making remarks that compensation increases will occur, forming committees to discuss pay, and ensuring us that our workload will become managable (current ratio is 1 PSE : 7 AEs), and have not delivered on one single commit or mention, to better the sales engineering organization. Sales Engineers are paid WAY BELOW market standard, they revised the compensation plan to adversely affect engineers pay, and continue to hire new Account Executives with no experience but still require our quota with them to be the same as a seasoned veteran AE in the industry. The leadership is weak, they do not adhere to making the company better, and they put too much emphasis on the AEs that don't know what they are doing, rather than on the Sales Engineers who perform all the Demonstrations, RFPs, Technical Meetings, Implementation Inquiries, etc. and who actually drive customers to committing to a deal or sale, not the AEs. The leaders will then host company meetings glorifying the AE for a deal that was secured, when the Sales Engineer is the reason the deal was won, but will not mention them in the meeting.
