How challenging is it to sell against competitors in the sales role at NICE Ltd?

Pros-NICE is seen as having the best technology in this space. Cons-they are known for having poor service.  The company has grown primarily via acquisition over the years and has acquired some very solid technology ie InContact. 
The advantage of this is that NICE has a much broader portfolio than traditional CCaaS competitors. The disadvantage is that they own a ton of disparate point solutions that don't integrate, so it isn't a platform whatsoever and the competitors/clients know it. It is known in the industry as "the frnakenstack." That being said if you stick to solving a specific problem chances are you have a solid point solution in your bag to help your client achieve a desired outcome.

I'd say if you have a well qualified opportunity you have a good chance to win. The technology is a long time market leader and there are few functional limitations with most of their products. Cons are- professional services and ongoing support. NICE has a reputation for not treating customers exceptionally well after the point of sale. Nice is also hesitant to make special accommodations of flexible terms of service which can be a challenge when competing against smaller/ more agile providers.

A lot of our competitors in the division I worked in where signed up for multi-year contracts that were not open to talking too. Didnt have an opportunity close within 2 years of being there.
