Back to ReviewsCurrent Employee No BS. The job is not easy. But we make really good money and on all levels we get great development from our seniors. The company invests heavily into its sales people. If you want an easy 9-5 sales job than don’t join MongoDB. If you want to focus on personal and career growth MongoDB is the place to be. The company heavily promots internally so you can also grow your career relatively easy. The culture is very performance driven and QBRs aren’t easy. But the management has your back and in difficult times helps where help is needed. Currently I would not want to move to a different company. Also a bid advantage at MongoDB is that you can easily get some other sales job since you went through MongoDB sales school. A friend (former MongoDB sales guy) recently told me that people who succeed at MongoDB for 2-3 years are built different and he would always hire a MongoDB sales person.
