Overall MSFT was a good experience. The there isn't a great sales culture as there is a lot of red tape on deals. They stick to a dozen or so sales plays and if you're solution isn't within a key sales play, its difficult to get focus with the ATU

A challenging role and there is opportunity to learn so much but since this was a pilot org, there was so much uncertainty from the beginning. I had to grab the leads quickly and maintain strengthening relationships with C-suite customers and utilize all tools to acquire new businesses. My overall experience was fantastic, even though I had four managers in less than two years. The last manager played favorites and was blatantly obvious about it. The skills of the manager to be able to constructively coach was non-existent. I would go back to being an AE again should the opportunity arise.
