Very limited inbound leads. The targets are aggressive with Management consistantly forecasting higher than the reps. While ambitious goals can be motivational, they seemed excessive and potentially unrealistic, leading to undue pressure on the reps. This then led to behaviour of requesting reps to pull in their deals from the next quarter to help reach quota in current Q. This is an ever-chasing knock-on effect.
In my experience, a successful sales environment thrives on a balance between ambitious targets and realistic expectations. It also heavily relies on a culture of collaboration, where team members actively support and complement each other’s efforts, leading to more significant achievements. Not exactly the case here.
