Current Employee Excellent commission rate at Lacework, but the downside is that Enterprise deals are few & far between. There are a select few number of reps that are on pace to hit their quota this year. But the plus side is that even if you don't hit quota, you can still make decent money b/c commission rates are so high (22% of the deal).
Leadership is unfortunately a major negative for Lacework. They haven't had a CRO in 18 months which is bad if you're a sales rep, and it's palpable. It's a product/engineering lead company all the way from the top down, with the CFO acting is the CRO. Sales leadership has minimal power & influence.
Support in the channel will be extremely lacking, reps are basically their own CAMs. Lacework intends to be 100% channel driven but does a poor job of supporting their reps.
Lacework recently laid off 90% of their SDRs, so AEs are responsible for all pipe-gen, and there is next to none inbound lead flow.
Good product, but not a great market fit yet. That will come in the next 18-24 months as Gartner figures out the CNAPP space. Browse Other Reviews
