Back to ReviewsCurrent Employee IBM is an extreme example of silos. Everything depends exactly on what narrow silo you're in. Most of the employees are lifers and way more interested in job security /WLB than earnings. I've not encountered any highly motivated sellers at all. Compensation is ok but it's generally not incentive based. In my area you have little control over what happens. Might be awesome might get zero. Both are equally likely. If you do win big they change the comp structure so it doesn't happen twice. Great place for someone who wants to coast.
