Back to ReviewsCurrent Employee There were some positives in my experience. The product is good and changing to fit customer needs. You get a book of business to help you get quick wins, especially as you ramp. The people for the most part were a pleasure to work with.
Overall though, the bad heavily outweighed the good. This role played a serious impact on my mental health. I'm sure some of it is manager dependent but you'll be left scratching your head why would aren't achieving compared to others when you aren't hearing anything different on calls and or seeing anything differ in outreach. There is always going to be a bit of that in sales but it is to the extreme at HubSpot, to the point where you may question your experience or ability to succeed at sales in general.
Managers do not coach or offer much encouragement. Tenured reps won't share their secrets. Everyone looks out for themself much more than I've seen in other sales roles. You won't take pto and will be encouraged to work on holidays. I'm sure experiences may vary but for me it wasn't worth the toll it took on my personal life. Browse Other Reviews
