Current Employee HubSpot's SMB AE role is difficult and a lot of reps end up leaving at the end of their ramp (10 month mark) because the quota they want you to operate at is approximately $1M for Canadian small businesses. HubSpot's product is excellent and it is easy to sell to the right person but SMB is defined as 25 employees and under on LinkedIn, which limits the number of companies that have budget to justify the expense. At HubSpot you source your own accounts through a process that SalesOps created and there is endless competition to find good fit accounts, which you will have to spend evenings sourcing.
