Who is blown away by how terrible HubSpot has become? This place was rated so high and it is just plummeting through the floor. This Q/A & review section in crazy.

It is a great sales school, the product is amazing, the ramp gives you time to have a good head start if you make the most out of it.

But yeah once you are tenured, sooner or later it takes a heavy toll on your mental health and at the end mgmt will make it look it's all your fault.

Don’t forget that during ramp, you have to over exceed your target to get paid out 100% commission. So if quota is $1,000 you actually have to sell $1,500 to get 100% commission. Clawbacks if they cancel before 12 months even though the customer is still required to pay for the full 12 months….

Most toxic place I've worked! Avoid at all costs... unachievable targets... unpleasant environment... unlimited PTO, but in reality, questioned for taking even 1 or 2 days off... potential to make decent money, but at what cost... taking years off your life!! zero work life balance

It’s truly a shame what happened to HubSpot. There’s so many people on PIPs and it’s so hard to succeed. The top reps are all doing fishy stuff to “succeed”. You don’t have to be a good sales rep to do well at HubSpot, you just need to have connections with partners to feed you leads and steal leads

It's not good right now. I genuinely think some reps are creating fake accounts / deals just to close them and worry about the clawbacks later, it's that bad

How is HubSpot a sales school? They don't teach Sandler, MEDDIC. 99% of the time you are trying to sell 10k arr deals to clowns.
