Those of you who have had or are currently having a bad experience with HubSpot. Where are you located? Are some regions worse off than others?  This Q&A definitely feels like an echo chamber.  I am trying to understand how it could actually be as bad as it seems. Any insight appreciated.

It’s bad everywhere. We slashed our ASP in March a once $500 product can now be purchased for $100 even if a prospect has the same buying process. Clawbacks that could be 100% out of your control are taken from your attainment. I could write a novel about the issues right now.

It’s based off territory you get. I’m west and all depends on what accounts you get in your name when you start and what new ones you can source.  We had a town hall today and they addressed the fact it has been so bad and they are going to try and fix things. Too many reps, not enough opps

It is as bad as people say it is. The quota isn't based in reality, few hit, and it's a software that is all about timing. You need a large territory with ICP's and if you dont have it you are done. It's an objective fact that in Q1/Q2 40% of reps were on PIP.  No one is out there convincing people to start conversations where they buy 20-50k of marketing or crm software. If you don't have those accounts you don't stand a chance.

EMEA is struggling a lot, especially UKI. Again, too many reps, not enough ops. I’d say 25% max are hitting number each month.

90% chance you fail and will be looking within a year. You have to have leads. Some have them, most dont.

It’s so much worse, you are either east or west in the US.  Then you’re assigned 500 accounts no one else wanted when you start.  You can add or drop from that but all the good accounts are already held.  They have people fighting over scraps when reps forget to get under 500.

SMB East Rep here - it's extremely rough right now. Current quota is not based in reality and the inbound flow is non-existent.

Some managers are great, but a lot of them came up during boom times with the company and are incapable of dealing with current marketplace adversity

UK’s bloodbath, too many reps, not enough accounts, reps aren’t glorified bdr’s they’re data cleansing specialists. 
No inbound leads, no good accounts, no enriched data, rep to bdr ratio of 1 bdr for 5 reps, hunger games finding good accounts. Crazy KPIs, impossible quota. Clueless managers
