Any Canadian MM AE reps in the building?

I am curious on segmentation at Hubspot... so MM is determined by which?

What is promo path after MM? How long and what are your options?

Any overall insights from a CDN MM rep would be helpful

Mid Market in Canada is called Direct which is a combo of Mid Market and Enterprise. Based on employee count, 26 - 10,000+ for Direct team.

Territory is a bit different from my past experiences. First your whole team is in the same territory (don't worry there is a ton to work with). It is split based on postal codes. Territories are re-carved every Feb.

HS is very transparent on promotion path (you can pull up a dashboard that shows you where you are at), what is needed to hit, etc. Typically based on past 6 - 9 months of results. Direct has 7 levels of promotions. There is full pay transparency here. You earn the exact same as anyone else at your specific level. You can see what each level earns and the OTE associated with it. Your experience and other factors can play into which level you fall within.

Canada is a new segment of focus. It isn't as fast as the US but if you put in the work and know how to prospect (outbound) you can hit and exceed targets.  I come from past companies where only 1 or 2 reps would hit quota. It is a nice change seeing more than half of teams hitting those numbers. Typically those who don't hit don't prospect.

They are extremely fair and treat their sales reps very well.
