1) How likely are you going to be calling on beaten-to-death accounts in a corp role? I fear getting a territory that everyones already heard the pitch 10x times.

2) Is there any realistic way to land deals other than marketing automation?

Very likely. Everything is over saturated. Outbound does not work. Rarely does a rep has create a deal that they found and sell it. If you close a deal, most likely inbound or a BDR found it. Ripping Salesforce CRM is hard. People want to leave but can’t. Get ready to sell a bunch of $12k-$20k deals

There are a ton of accounts. In corp a lot of it has to do with timing (longer buying process). Most accounts haven’t heard “the pitch” but it can be slower for sure.

100% - HubSpot has more hubs than just marketing and they sell in corp.

You are thinking about selling for one of the biggest companies in saas. Everyone on the planet has been beaten to death by a HubSPot rep. Everyone on the planet has heard of hubspot. Everyone has heard the pitch.

Yes we close lots of deals that are CRM first. Not everything is Marketing first.

100% likely. How likely any other job? Also 100% likely. Yes the BIg CRM deals come in all the time. They come in as inbound leads courtesy of HubSpots own marketing automation. Hubspot is mission critical so even if they’ve heard it 10 times, when timing is right and they need it they’ll buy it.

Honestly, they are all picked over. You have some much to do with learning how to demo (zero help learning) that you don’t have time to truly prospect. Plus, you have 400 companies to cover. Unless you have a good BDR, you are in trouble.
