Back to ReviewsCurrent Employee Hitachi has changed leadership at the top more than any other company I have ever seen. It has created so much turbulence for it's employees that it makes it hard for anyone to feel stable in their job. That being said, there is definitely an opportunity to make a lot of money here, but you're going to have to work very very hard to make it. There's not much for inbound leads, inside sales, and marketing seems to be happy just attending conferences. The way they have the sales organization segmented (commercial vs enterprise) is also somewhat mystifying because there is no hard definition of what qualifies an account as one or the other... it seems like enterprise accounts are just the ones that have done business with us in the past whereas commercial is all greenfield. Commercial reps definitely have a harder job at Hitachi than the enterprise reps do. Lastly, the company spends a lot of time focusing on DEI initiatives and not enough on revenue generation. I'm all for Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion, but if the company isn't bringing in the revenue, there won't be a company around to drive diversity within.
