Gong has a phenomenal culture, they have a high talent bar and make no mistake that you will get your PHD in sales here. That being said, those that have high grit and drive are VERY well compensated and can highly over achieve their targets/OTE.

Gong is a great team of world class sellers that prioritizes developing and promoting internal talent. It can be a tough environment at times because of how rapidly Gong and our competitive landscape are evolving, but that's also what makes it exciting. I love selling Gong because it feels like a must have for revenue leaders in today's climate.

This is a high pressure company/role, and not in a good way. Leadership expects the highest level of performance in every category (prospecting quality of messaging + high activity level, discovery, demo, pilot, forecasting, CRM hygiene, etc etc etc), at all times, and there if even one category falls behind for even a week, you'll be slapped on the wrist. Gong has not prioritized culture in the enterprise segment. As a result, there is a lot of backstabbing, full-on lying, and CYA happening. Particularly at the 2nd line leader position. Everyone has a feeling of fear and "ick" based on how leaders prioritize being punitive instead of actually coaching and being uplifting.
