Downmarket reps can meet/exceed. upmarket, no one sells and leadership turnover is nonstop. Most upmarket ICs are making the least $ in years. High pressure, low-trust environment.

Many POC left company or were laid off. some of the best performing reps having trouble getting promoted because no place for them to go (market conditions slowed AE opportunities, many qualified reps vying for single spot)

The company’s undergone a lot of positive changes that have in many ways made the SDR role more challenging (skill-wise) but it’s arguably more attainable.
