Gartner has been by far the best experience in regards to the support sales receives, the quality of the leadership and the over all comp and benefits. It is also the hardest job I have ever had as C suite leaders typically do not come to us. We need to go to them to convince them that they have a problem that we can fix. No one has budget for Gartner, we have to help them find it.

The company is a good playground for people who want to master consultative / value-based sales however it depends highly on your mentor / manager so if you're lucky to find good one, you'll definitely make it. Otherwise, learning is very difficult and management is quite harsh about you not closing any deal when it's very difficult to begin with.

My overall experience was good! I learned a lot and there are a lot of things to upskill on. However there could be more tools and support for the sales team that could help us do our job better.
