My experience at Fortinet has been a very interesting run for me. The culture isn’t great the executive suite doesn’t seem to respect or closely engage with sales and morale seems pretty low across the board. That said there are ways to find the nooks and crannies where the money is hiding and I’ve managed to make good money over the last couple years, but I’m only one of a couple on my team that can say this. Most (like 6 or 7 out of 10) don’t hit 25% of plan!

Segmentation and smaller territories. In 2025 segmentation it was a big swing and miss for our commercial team. They had no clue on what would be successful

Up until 2024, the compensation plan was very good. With the new Americas sales leadership, they decided to make significant reductions to our compensation plan, as well as hiking quotas in some cases(like mine) by over 100%, even though my pipeline didn't come close to supporting such an increase.
